A member of our Social Media Team for the 2017 Tour of Central Europe, violist Kayla Cabrera is a familiar face to those who follow CYSO; Her story was featured in a blog post back in 2016. On her way to Julliard this fall, Kayla joined us on tour for one last CYSO experience and captured her travels in a 5-minute video compilation that conveys the whirlwind of energy, joy, and music that make up the students’ tour experience.
“I decided to document the tour by video because I thought it would be a great way to not only to show our family and friends our experiences,” Kayla said, “but so that we (the students) could relive our trip as well. My friends and I all had a fabulous time making the videos and I really hope others will enjoy seeing a musician’s point-of-view on tour!”
