2023 CYSO Gala: Women in Music

Join CYSO as the 2023 Gala celebrates Women in Music! From composers, to conductors, to performers, we are honoring the achievements of the many pioneering women who continue to pave the way for the future of music. This year’s event will feature three inspiring honorees, including groundbreaking artist/musician and CYSO alum, Laurie Anderson, who will also join Symphony Orchestra for a live performance!
As our largest fundraising event of the year, the Gala supports world-class music education for more than 800 dedicated young players from across the Chicago area. The evening includes cocktails, dinner, live auction, and performances from CYSO’s Symphony Orchestra, Kaiso Steel Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, and Preparatory Strings.
