2024 CYSO Gala: Got That Swing!

Join CYSO as we celebrate Duke Ellington’s 125th birthday! As one of the most enduring and important creative forces of the 20th century, tunes like “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing),” “Take the A Train,” and “Mood Indigo” are just a few of the nearly 3,000 Ellington compositions that continue to resonate with audiences around the world.
The CYSO Gala is an elegant evening of spectacular performances, all in support of our award-winning music education programs engaging students from across Chicagoland and the central Midwest. To be held at the chic Radisson Blu Aqua hotel, the night will include a cocktail reception, live auction, three-course dinner, and performances from over 200 of CYSO’s brightest young players.
