European Tour Kick-Off Concert & Festival

Join CYSO for a FREE Tour Kick-Off Concert & Festival featuring a special CYSO alumni Play-Along in honor of our 75th anniversary season!

CYSO’s Symphony Orchestra kicks off their Tour of Berlin, Leipzig, Prague, & Vienna with a FREE concert and family-friendly festival! Join our talented young musicians to hear works by George Walker, Samuel Barber, Gustav Mahler, and more. Don’t miss the concert finale featuring a play-along with the orchestra featuring alumni from across CYSO’s 75 year history!

Stick around before and after the performance for a festival featuring organizations, activities, and crafts representing the three countries the orchestra will visit on tour—Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

Festival runs 2:00-6:00 pm. Concert begins at 3:00 pm.

Alumni: You’re Invited

CYSO alumni are invited to join us for the concert AND special Alumni Reception afterwards just around the corner from Symphony Center at 2Twenty2 Tavern (222 S. Wabash) beginning at 6:00 pm. Come for fun and fellowship with other alumni and appetizers provided by CYSO! RSVP below for just the concert, or the concert and reception.


Patrons must wear a face covering throughout their visit. All individuals are expected to self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms before attending this event. Patrons who are not feeling well, are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, or have had or been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 10 days should not attend. Parking is available at CYSO’s preferred parking garage, Millennium Garages’ Grant Park South, 325 S Michigan Ave.

Garage parking available at nearby in Grant Park South. Elevator available from main level (exits at Van Buren). Second and third floor parking accessible via escalator.
