The CYSO Beer Benefit took place on Monday, June 5th, attended by a great crowd of parents, alumni, board members, and other supporters. Guests filled Lagunitas Brewery’s Chicago TapRoom to sample an selection of exclusive beers, dined on a tamale buffet from Dia de los Tamales, and enjoyed games and a raffle. A combo featuring students from CYSO’s Jazz Orchestra entertained the crowd throughout the evening. The event raised more than $12,000 to support CYSO’s music training and ensemble programs.
