Panel of Experts Discusses “Getting Into College 101”

Our popular “Getting into College 101” workshop returned for 2021, taking place live on Facebook on Oct 6. Aimed at families who are beginning to navigate the college music admissions process, the event featured a lively discussion with topics ranging from selecting the right school, setting up trial lessons with faculty, navigating financial aid, and more.

The evening’s panel of music admissions experts included  Curtis Institute of Music’s Belmary Lorcas, St. Olaf College’s Molly Boes Ganza, the University of Illinois School of Music’s Dr. Angela Tammen, and Chicago Musical Pathways Initiative’s Adrienne Thompson.
