The CYSO family is a large network of expert educators, dedicated administrators, and devoted board members. Bringing together a wealth of diverse skillsets and experiences, we support our young musicians and help model the excellence and collaboration that is central to the CYSO experience.
CYSO’s award-winning artistic staff and faculty is made up of some of the most respected music educators from across Chicagoland. With decades of experience on the podium and working with students, their expertise in music and dedication to our young musicians is unmatched.
CYSO admin staff work hard to ensure that every student has an exceptional experience in our programs and the organization continues to thrive for decades to come. Our administrative team have a wide range of expertise and come together to provide the highest level of service to CYSO musicians and families.
Our board is made up of dedicated community members with a passion for CYSO’s young musicians. Members include corporate leaders, educators, attorneys, philanthropists, and more. Board members volunteer their time to provide fiduciary oversight and strategic decision-making for CYSO.

| Internships | CYSO offers summer internship opportunities for CYSO students interested in gaining valuable experience in arts administration. Applications for these internships are available to students in the spring. Other general internships may be available throughout the year for those who are not CYSO students, but are interested in volunteering with CYSO.
