Who is your favorite musician/piece/song to listen to and why?

I enjoy listening to the music of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. I was introduced to this ballet when I was young, I cherished the astounding choreography and music. I grew up taking dance classes for thirteen years and I acquired a great appreciation for this masterpiece.

What was the first ensemble you played in?

The first ensemble I played in was my elementary school band in Yorkville, IL. However, the first orchestra I played in was Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra. I enjoyed playing in a full orchestra, performing challenging repertoire, and meeting new musicians.
