Thank you to everyone who came out for Sunday’s Orchestra Hall concert! We hope that you were moved by the rousing performances from our young musicians. From Symphony Orchestra‘s impassioned performance of Tchaikovsky’s Symphony no. 6, to the joyous world premiere of Glenn Kotche’s Infinite Tree, and Philharmonic Orchestra‘s lively rendition of Poet and Peasant Overture, we can’t think of a better way to help wrap up CYSO’s 70th anniversary season.
Thank you especially to Glenn Kotche for a virtuosic world premiere of Infinite Tree. With his enthusiastic solo performance and unique percussion from members of the entire orchestra, it was a pleasure to share this work with the world for the very first time!
Thank you again to everyone who joined us for this fantastic performance. We look forward to seeing you back at Orchestra Hall next fall!
