Congratulations to Steven Baloue, a CYSO Symphony Orchestra violist who was recently accepted to NYO2! Steven will attend the summer program hosted by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute this June.
Steven is a 16 year old 11th grader and has been a member of CYSO for three seasons. He began in Concert Orchestra in 2013 before moving up Symphony Orchestra in 2014.
“We’ve seen Steven grow so much as a musician over the past three years, and we’re thrilled for him to have this opportunity,” said Madalyne Tregellas, CYSO Operations Manager. “His dedication will serve him well this summer at NYO2.”
We wish Steven the best in his experience at NYO2 this summer!
