2024 Gala | Cocktails & Program

The 2024 CYSO Gala: Got That Swing! took place at Chicago’s Radisson Blu Aqua hotel on Saturday, March 2nd. Celebrating the 125th birthday of Duke Ellington and his legacy as one of the most enduring creative voices of the 20th century, the event raised more $525,000 to support CYSO’s award-winning programs for the next generation of young musicians and leaders. Honorees included Pharez Whitted, CYSO Director of Jazz Orchestra and award-winning trumpeter, and Lawyers for the Creative Arts, as well as special guest performer Jahari Stampley. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of our 2024 Gala! More info at cyso.org/gala
