Symphony Orchestra at Orchestra Hall – Fall 2022

CYSO’s Symphony Orchestra presents their Fall Concert at Orchestra Hall. Featuring CYSO alum Mary Elizabeth Bowden performing the world premiere of Bohemian Queen, a new concerto from composer Clarice Assad inspired by the work of the surrealist Chicago painter Gertrude Abercrombie. The program also features an exciting line-up of contemporary works from Jessie Montgomery, Anna Clyne, and Daniel Bernard Roumain, as well as Strauss’ heroic, autobiographical Ein Heldenleben.
